£600 Raised for Wymondham Dementia Group

We’re proud to share that, together with the Norfolk Cribbage Association, our club has helped raise an amazing £600 in support of the Wymondham Dementia Group.

• £262 was raised at our club’s annual Absent Friends Cribbage Tournament, held in the Members’ Bar.
  
• The remaining funds came from the Norfolk Cribbage Association’s Norfolk Day Tournament, hosted in our Regal Lounge.
  

The Wymondham Dementia Group has asked us to pass on their heartfelt thanks to everyone who took part and supported these events. This fantastic total will make a real difference to their important work in our community.

David and Mandy Win Top Honours for Floral Display

Congratulations to David Overton and Mandy Blowers, winners of this year’s Outstanding Display and People’s Choice awards for Wymondham in Bloom. Their beautifully arranged planters and baskets continue to brighten the front of the club and are a real highlight of the town’s floral displays.

A big well done as well to everyone who was recognised - it’s always inspiring to see the community come together to make Wymondham look its best.

We Raised £220 for the 389th Bomb Group Museum!

Thanks to everyone who came to our beer festival and grabbed a pint of Bombs Away — our special charity beer. Each one came with a blast from the past (literally)… we rang the air raid siren every time it was poured!​

All money goes to the museum in Hethel, which preserves the incredible history of the RAF and USAAF crews who served there in WWII. Run by amazing volunteers, it’s a piece of living history we’re proud to support.

Have Your Say at our Annual AGM - Sunday 18th May!

We invite all members to attend the Annual General Meeting on Sunday 18th May at 11:00 AM at The Regal.

This is your chance to have your voice heard!
Bring your ideas, suggestions, and feedback to help shape the future of the club. Please note - if you have anything to discuss at the AGM meeting please submit the topic to the committee by 8th May so that it can be added to the agenda. 

At the AGM, we will also:

• Review the club’s activities and achievements over the past year
• Present the financial report
• Discuss and vote on any proposed changes
• Plan for the year ahead
• Recognize and thank volunteers and contributors

Your participation is important — together, we can continue to grow and improve our club!

​Tracy's Birthday Raffle Raises over £1000 for Charity!

We’re incredibly proud of our fabulous member Tracy Howes, who marked her birthday in the most generous way - by hosting a charity raffle that raised an amazing £1,040!
​
The funds have been split between two wonderful local causes: Wymondham Star Throwers and Wymondham Dementia Support Group.
