Once completed and seconded by an existing member, your name will be added to the monthly list submitted to the committee for approval. If approved, your membership card will be ready for collection from the bar shortly after.

Membership Fees

Membership costs £15 for the first year and £10 every year after or pro-rata if you join part way through the year. All memberships are renewed in November. If not renewed by the end of December, your membership number may be reallocated and your membership cancelled.


Code of Conduct

As a member of our social club, we ask that you uphold a respectful and friendly atmosphere at all times. Members are expected to treat staff, guests, and fellow members with courtesy, follow all club rules, and respect the premises. Any behaviour deemed inappropriate or disruptive may result in suspension or termination of membership at the committee’s discretion.

• How do I become a member?

Ask for a membership form at the bar. Once completed and seconded by an existing member, your name will be submitted to the committee for approval.

•  How much does membership cost?

Membership is £15 per year, or pro-rata depending on when you join. All memberships are renewed in November. Membership price drops to £10 per year after the first year.

Please note: From 1 November 2025, membership fees will change to £20 for new members and £15 for renewals.

• When will I receive my membership card?

Once approved by the committee, your membership card will be ready to collect from the bar shortly after.

• What happens if I forget to renew?

If you don’t renew your membership by December, your membership number may be reallocated and your membership revoked.

• Can I bring guests?

Yes, members are welcome to bring guests, but they must be signed in and are expected to follow the club’s code of conduct.

• I've joined in September, do I still have to pay for a whole year?

If you join from September you will get the rest of the month and October included with your first year, but you should still renew the following November. 

• What is expected of members?

Members are expected to treat staff and other member's with respect, follow club rules, and help maintain a welcoming and friendly environment.

• Can I reapply if my membership lapses?

Yes, but you will need to go through the same application process, and your previous membership number may no longer be available.

• How can I get seconded?

To be seconded, you’ll need an existing club member or one of the committee team  to support your application. If you don’t know anyone yet, feel free to chat with members at the bar or during events - many are happy to introduce themselves and help you get involved.

• Do I have to be military or ex-military to be a member?

No, membership is open to everyone. You do not need to be serving or ex-military to join - everyone is welcome!
